Helpful Hints for Better Sealing
- Single Strip Efficiency: Always try to seal boxes with just one single strip of tape across the main seam to maximize efficiency.
- Upgrade to Save: If you find yourself using 2 parallel strips of 2" tape, upgrade to a 3" width tape or a thicker Industrial mil (3.6 mil). This reduces labor time and lowers material costs.
- Width Selection Rule:
- 2" Tape: Ideal for boxes 15" wide or less.
- 3" Tape: Recommended for boxes over 16" wide, underfilled RSC boxes, overstuffed boxes, or difficult-to-adhere surfaces.
